I like the brown line. I have enough blue and white here because of snow, and winter. A bit of brown means spring is coming and the snow is melting to me. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Not sure if we'd be able to find a better implementation which both avoids the width issue and preserves the icons.

Correct, just on mobile (where we have very limited size / options to work with... and lots of complexities with devices / browsers)
