I started to build a new coop today

new member to here. Had a tiny coop for two chickens (australorp) but spent the last two days building a new coop and have 3 chicks to go with it (when they are big enough, have a smaller coop inside bigger coop until proper introductions can be made). Just got a lavender araucana, Black araucana and a Hamburg.
We are almost finished and should have it completed tomorrow, designed by me and my step dad

I just saw your coop progress post, the new coop will be a nice size for your flock. Not trying to be critical but the chicken wire needs to be reinforced or replaced with hardware cloth, chicken wire is not strong enough to keep predators out.

We have big dogs which to this date have kept all predators at bay, we don’t seem to get anything near us :)
