Yeah its a messed up order for sure... I am ok with it, just kinda killing me to know what they are and IF any of those pairs have a NH in there (i really wanted a NH can you tell?). I never told them at all that they were not right... Although I knew right away that the brahma's were missing, I was so overwhelmed that I had all these babies I just let it go. I had NO idea that the rest was possibly messed up too
I love them! I just wish I knew what they were lol
Ok, the barred rocks are probably packing peanuts. Pictures 3 and 4 are definately golden comets (your sexlinks). The bottom pictures are your brahmas. The two like the very first picture look like reds to me. Hope that helps.
Yes i believe the rocks are indeed peanuts. They are male and there were more of them
Very cool that these 2 (pics 3/4) are comets but there were supposed to be 8 of them and i got 6 lighter so maybe just a variation?
Picture 1/2 i was hoping would be my NH's lol
but there are no feathered feet on teh bottom ones. They are just regular feet... Wouldnt they already have the feet feathered at 2 weeks?
Comets can be very, very light, the pic 3 is a fairly dark comet. They're very tall and will have long necks and a bit more comb than you'd expect on a little girl chick.
You're right about the brahmas, not on the bottom. The feathering on those looks like comets, but the one on the right looked like it had feathered shanks, my bad.
Here's a link to a decent pic of a NHR, maybe it'll help. It looks like they should have really orange legs. http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/product/new_hampshire_reds.html
