I think her eye is gone. Graphic pictures do not look if sensitive

Hey guys

so I tried to get the rest of the puss out that I had seen. This time what it looked like I saw was some puss that was connected to some sort of red/purplish ball of tissue. I tried to get it out but It seemed like it was connected to something in the eye socket. I honestly think it’s her eyeball. It got loose a few times but I couldn’t get it out. I tried to take a video and I’ll try to post it when I get a chance. I don’t think the video came out great but at least I got something. Lol it’s hard trying to do it by yourself. Anyways I was wondering if you guys think I should leave it in there and just see what happens or should I try to force it out. I’ll post the video as soon as I can and then you can get a better picture of what I’m trying to describe. Thank you al so much for your help and encouragement. It really helps and means more then you know.

Hey Friends! So I am trying to upload the video I took earlier of the puss and the thing it’s connected to. I also wanted to add or make it clear that the ball of tissue (I’m not sure what exactly it is, could just be puss or her actual eyeball) it’s hanging by a thread. But still tough to get out. And that’s why I left it. I wanted to double check with the experts (all of you amazing friends of mine). Also It was already halfway sticking out of her eye socket before I tried to drain/get the rest of the puss out. I forgot to mention that earlier and thought it was important for you guys to know. Im thinking 50/50 and stuck. I feel like it wants to come out anyway and if it is her eyeball it’s already gone and will heal faster with it out. Then On the other hand I feel like i should leave it and let nature takes its course just incase it is her eyeball or something important that needs to stay but then I’m afraid it’s going to create more of a problem and I will feel horrible for not doing all I should have done. Anyways I love to hear all of your thoughts, input, encouragement, opinions, or anything I’m doing wrong or anything more I can do. I already ordered the antibiotics and I’m hoping they came today. Thank you guys so so so much. I truly do appreciate all of my awesome chicken friends. You all are the best. Xoxo Jess.

Thank you guys so much!
I have just been flushing and putting the antibiotic ointment on it. It is still looking the same. The other antibiotic has not been delivered yet and I am so bummed about that. The only vet available is an exotic vet and It would cost way more then I could afford. I am just going to keep doing what I’m doing and hopefully with time it will get better. I just feel terrible and wish I could do more.

So the antibiotics finally came and started her on that today. I went up to set it up and check on things and this is what her eye looks like today without being touched. I wanted to see what you guys thought about it before I did anything to it. Let me know thank you.

It still looks to have more pus building up in the eye. It may take more than once to get the pus cleaned out. Some try squeezing, while sometimes it takes tweezers, a manicure tool, and QTips and saline eye wash. Terramycin eye ointment from a feed store is good to use after cleaning if you run out of the eye drops. Use it twice a day.
