Hey Friends!!!

So I was able to squeeze most of the pus out. I’m assuming it was puss, it was hard and yellow. I saw a little bit more in there but I wasn’t able to get it out. I am going to try again tomorrow. I didn’t see an actual eyeball. If she did lose her eye at least she can start healing. I ordered the antibiotics and will start those as soon as they get here. I did flush her eye out really good with eye wash and put the antibiotic eye drops in her eye. Is there anything more that I can do to help her? Thank You all so so so much for all the help. I will post a picture of the stuff I got out of the eye.

Yep, that is 'pus'. I bet her eyeball is still in there, you won't be able to see it until the swelling & inflammation goes down. Keep up the good work, I had to remove pus several times from my hens eye. She improved pretty quickly once I started the antibiotic in her water.

Yes, pus is neutrophils or white block cells produced as a reaction to infection. Getting that out can help the antibiotics and drops to help.

Poor girl, All I can do is pray for her. Going to God always helped my chickens when something goes wrong. so I am praying for that beautiful bird, right now
