I think I exploded one of my hatching eggs

they were only out of the incubator for 38 minutes.... i timed myself. i took out nthe turner b/c i wanted to sterlize the turner better b/c it has so many nooks and cranies. i goth the incubator and wire all sterlized and got the eggs that were affected (exploded and exploded on) out of the incubator. the one next to the exploded egg was gooed in as well and i had to sacrafice it and i ended up breaking it and a little chick popped out at me!!!!!!

i about died i had no idea wat to do. it broke my heart and grossed me out all in one dose.

on the upside i put some towels in the dryer and i let them warm up i wrapped all of the eggs in the towel in a carton and closed them up in my closet. 38 minutes later they were as warm as they were when i took them out of the incubator.

thanks for all the help this little incident wore me out!

you did a good job!! If you hadn't you might have lost every single egg as they were all contaminated. You HAD to clean that up ASAP. Good job

thanks all is going well at this point, but im turning them manually so i guess that is a down side but i saved the hatch and got the incubator clean
