I think I figured out chicken math!

Oh man, we are so getting there!!

We bought four silkie chicks. One ended up being a roo. Two started laying eggs, loved getting eggs, then realized that out of four chickens only two are laying any eggs because one is a rooster and the other one isn't sure what it is but it's not laying any eggs. This isn't good. So we buy four more silkies in the hopes of upping our egg collecting. Notice Silkie1 has gone broody and is sitting on a nest of 12 eggs... now we're getting no eggs at all and have eight hungry mouths to feed with the possibility of more on the way LoL Love it!!
