I think I have 4 Roosters and 2 hens...

Thanks. I like how you worded it; "A lovely flock of barnyard crosses."

Is there any doubt with these four roosters? I think I want to go ahead a get rid of them because a couple of them are alredy trying to bully another hen we recently got and I don't have any need for them anyway. But I would hate to get rid of them if they were actually hens.

Hens will bully new hens, its the pecking order thing....

Yes, but I don't like seeing the roosters bully the hen when I have no intentions of keeping the roosters anyway.

The white one with the black smudges looks like my Delaware. Mine is a pullet and does not have a large comb, or wattles, so I do think that one is a rooster. I have two Barred rocks also and while one of them is colored lighter, I am 95% sure they are both pullets. It seems that the color is not always an indicator?

You have at least 2 roos in my guess...sorry, hard to tell sometimes...we weren't a lot of help huh? How old are they? Anyone crowing yet?

I also believe that you have a lovely bunch of barnyard crosses. The only bird that looks mostly purebred is the Delaware. I personally own a flock of hybrid birds because I love their hardiness and laid back attitude (I have Golden Comets and an EE).

I really hate to say this, because you said you don't want roos.... but I only see two hens in your pictures. The barred rock cross, and the last white bird that you posted. You might want to seriously consider which rooster treats the flock the best and give away the others. Having so many roosters and so few hens will stress your flock badly.

OK, my opinion time
1. Is a red sexlink, and i believe a pullet?
2. is a ???
3. Delaware cockerel
4. The one clearly in this picture looks like a black sexlink cockerel
5. Looks like either a BR or Sexlink cockerel
6. Looks like white leghorn, pullet
