Hi! I’m new to this forum but wow have already learned so much. This is a pic of my 9 week old Astralorp. In addition to the comb and waddle development, we have been hearing some crowing early in morning. I thought it was too early for that but my husband is convinced. Can I get your expert opinions? She/he is the sweetest little guy, so hoping not a Roo as we can’t keep due to city guidelines. Thanks so much! 2232A406-8749-499F-90CF-4932EFD8EE0D.jpeg 64B2C6F2-7FB4-4C1C-B182-C56C0244991B.jpeg

Thank you all so much! We were able to return him to the farm where we got him and came home with two new Rhode island whites. Now I get to figure out how to safely combine 3x 2 yr old hens with 4x10 week old pullets with 2x 6 week old babes. Going to start with the youngers first 👍 thank you again for your help!
