I thought I would share this. This is my Randy at 4 weeks (the one in the front with his head lowered). I could tell he was a roo. He was shaped a little different from the pullets.

Are those rir? I have 4 pullets of the reds but one is significantly lighter than the other 3. That’s the only difference in them lol

Yes they are RIR's. I've learned that there are different varieties. Some of my girls have smaller combs then the others. But the purpose is eggs and they deliver.

Love the orpingtons, I would say you have a cockeral too! If the two are hatch mates and his waddles are already that big along with his comb then I say it's a pretty good chance you got a boy. Best of luck with your new flock!

Most say winter is a he and I agree lol I will post updated pics in a couple weeks lol I love him to pieces already. Always the first to greet me and doesn’t shy away at all! If he is in fact a he I’m sure he will be great to keep around
