Glad my chicks gave you some cuddles, and that they're doing so well for you. Some breeds are just meant to be pets!

I had to do something similar for a hen of my own, and it really doesn't get easier. But there is a measure of peace, as well, in knowing that you did the right thing. I always talk to mine and cuddle them as well before doing the deed.

Keep trying to cuddle ur other ones still especially when u give them treats. They might come around yet. In the meantime cuddle up to ur newbe and enjoy. Don't forget to throw some extra cuddles to ur DH too!
