I was typing away when something floated in front of my face. Today is not a windy day, so I looked closely. Luckily, I had my glasses on! It was a spider, smaller than the period at the end of this sentence. Either she was waving at me, or holding on to her 'parachute' string. It was too cute!

I grabbed her parachute & relocated her to the 2 Christmas cacti & Poinsettia behind my desk. I haven't seen any bugs on them, but that doesn't mean they aren't there, right?
And it's a tad early and cold for spiders, isn't it? My office is a balmy 65, although it's warmer on the window sill right now. Sunny afternoon following a cold and dreary morning.

I'm much more fond of Charlotte than I am of the mouse that ran under my desk a couple of days ago...

Spiders really are lovely, aren't they?!?! My kids and I enjoy looking at them and watching them spin their webs.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks!
I used to hate spiders.
Now I have Charlotte at work, plus at least a dozen Widows in my garden beds.

I'm evolving

Hope there are some mites for Charlotte to eat among those plants. Never thought I'd say something like that!

Oh I see, spiders are creepy but six fingered babies are OK??

6 fingered babies need love too. Spiders need smushing. My son screams like a girl at the sight of a spider.

Used to be one.
But once I started companion planting & using benefical bugs, being scared of them seemed silly.

It's those millipedes that creep me out

(only I'm usually on the chair not under it, with DH laughing and threatening to throw it on me)
