Let me start by saying I have never had anything like this happen. I have lived in my house for 8 years. New home never had any problems. I have blessed salt all around the outside of my home (my sister in law had me do it lol) I have holy water sprayed thru house routinely.
Now, I like most people like the good scary movie and ghost story.
But......
Today I went out to water my plants and feed and water my small chick coop. I went inside and glanced to see what I thought was one of my cats. Then I went to pet and say hi to my feline friend. Now I know what I saw, it was there then it went poof and was gone. So I then kinda in shock went back outside and proccessed what happened. Then I went in and tyold my husband who thinks I am crazy. My daughter has been telling me for about two weeks she has been seeing the same image.
We talked about it today and both described the same image. Unsure exactly what it is. I want to say cat like but not sure. It was graceful like because it did not make noise as it moved. Maybe rabbit , ferrot type. But it was there !

Was not human or even ghost so what the heck was it ?? I would think I was in need of getting my eyes checked but two of us saw the same thing.

I would like to come visit and see it! I don't have any preconceived ideas , solutions, or phobias or theories. I just want to see it!

i'm clueless of what it could be but i would like to see it also, just not in my house...haha

It was a animal type because ghosts would be human form ? I do have animals, but I have never had one walk a distance be there and then just disappear.
I just assumed my daughter was seeking attention when she kept talking about it.
My home is newer and we are first owners. The land we know was part of dairyland that was part of the hay field. Nothing strange at all.
Also I was not scared or threatend by whatever it was at all. Just confused at the moment.

I love this forum - there is always something interesting to read! A ghost cat would SO COOL since my husband is allergic and I am a lifelong cat lover!

I would just go with the flow. You're not crazy cuz you're seeing a ghost cat. You'd be crazy if you started feeding it.

Ive heard several ghost animal stories and to be honest have seen ghosts myself on my property both animal and human. Oh and not all ghost people are shadow people or see through. There is such a thing as a ghost ball and just hearing a voice. By the way I swear I'm not a nut. Just gifted LOL. I get it from my grandmother.

I have had the same experience. My first DH and I was just returning from our honeymoon. We arrived back at home, it was late and I was the first to the door. I unlocked the door and flipped the light on and there setting in the doorway to my kitchen was this big cat,..black of course. (At this time we had no animals). It looked at me and meowed and hissed and run off and dissappeared. I looked for it and never seen it again. So I never thought much of it. A few months later a friend of ours stopped by our house and he had an older gentleman with him. This older gentleman told our friend he needed to speak to me. Our friend told us he could "see things" and just listen to him. I went out to talk to him, he was very elderly and blind. He began talking to me and asked me if I had seen any cats in the house. Of course I told him of my encounter the night we came home from our honeymoon. He told me that cat was an omen, it was telling me our marriage was cursed. He also told me he could "see" my DH and I and we were back to back holding swords. This meant to him that we would never stay married, there was something between us and it was not going away. At that time I thought, "Bless his heart,..he is a nut." We hadnt been married no time, how did he come up with this? But three years later and after much turmoil,...we divorced. I never thought at that time It would have happened. The old man was right. Oh and the thing that was between us and wouldnt go away,...it was his MOTHER.
