I think I want a car

Car places keep sending me "checks" to come and buy a car from them too... because i just paid off my mini-van....
Tempting... but i just dont want another payment right now.... but then if my van dies, we be in biiig trouble.... *sigh* decisions....

Oh, I so love being in a car that is paid off. I even had to take the subaru into the dealer this week for a surprisingly inexpensive fix and had a rental for 1/2 a week, and I still felt no draw to the new car -- because of the car payment. They were pretty, but all I saw were payment books on wheels.

My husband and I got out of hand with new cars when first married, we have vowed to never go back. Only get new one if we absolutely need it, and only with at least 1/2 down or more.

That being said, he drives a Jeep Cherokee and I drive the Subaru Forester, and I have to admit that Jeep bounces us around a lot, so I understand the "car" want. Good luck, and I really agree, that is one purty car!

DH said no instantly. It's a 6 cylinder. Had it been a Hemi he might have said go for it.

But I would so speed in that... In some areas... Likke the empty 4 lane highway!!!

I really should'nt speed right? Good car, good tires, freeway, away from houses... Good weather!! Yup, I would have to think about tickets before getting something that nice!!! We have the nicest highway ever for making time... So BAD!!!! I am.. Thank God I know drive a vehicle that needs work.. Or I soo drive like a maiac!!

I'd been looking for a new muscle car and ended up buying a new LS1 WS6 Ram Air Trans Am that my son spotted. (My Mr. came along only for the ride since he couldn't trump my decisions, lol.) My son held it down for me until I could get there. It was the most bang for the buck muscle car then, and shortly after my son ended up tracking another one down and getting it for himself...we almost always got matching muscle cars...runs in the family, lol. Fun cars are hard to pass up and I hope you get what you want. Many times I've heard folks say it was easier to ask forgiveness than permission, but sometimes that doesn't work out too well.
