About an hour west, Heading towards Riverside, you'd pass my place on the drive. My 1st husband was stationed there, but not untill after I left him.

Between the two of you, couldn't you have found someone ahead of time to help you out at home if he had to be on duty?

Can't fault him for going to work if he was military, it's part of the life. Planning ahead for this is another story.​

It's hard to find people to watch the kids that you trust when you move around a lot. I had a baby sitter issue as a child so I've never asked anyone that wasn't family or life long friend to watch the kids. I'm a nut when it comes to that.

My husband is the same way. What is great , but not great, is if I am the one to get sick first and have to do what I can to take care of the kids and the house while I am sick. Then the next week he gets it and tries going to bed cause he doesn't feel good and I am like, yep sucks doesn't it take some cold meds and get back out here. If I could do it so can you.
