Well i got up this morning to 20 chick running around. I had to help a bantam out. it pipped two days ago and looked stuck. The chicks ran all over it yesterday and rolled it around. it had a little of the membrane stuck on it. I hope it makes it. it's number 21. 5 more to go.
Mohonri-if i can last until day 21 then anyone can. I'm one of the most nervous, anxious and adhd people your probably ever meet. I thought i was going to die. It is definately worth the wait.
Are the black ones the polish cross. There are black ones with a little white on them. There are some yellow one with dork lines down there back i think they are aracunas. The rest are RIR from my flock. The bantams are yellow, one is black with a white belly. He looks like a little penguin. I will try to put pics up sometime today.
21 have hatched and one is pushing out now. I had to throw away 4 eggs on day 14. One died very early and the other three were infertile.

Thank so much. I have been so nervous. I was reading everyones recomendations on how to incubate and i got really confused. I did what i thought best from all the info and everything has turned out alright. Plus i Prayed that everything would go well, and it has.
I think people try to be so precise and they make it a little more difficult than it really is. I just kept thinking of a hen on her nest.
The Polish were from golden laced
bantams could be Japanese (BTW or Grey), Silver Pencilled Cochin, OEG.
I might be able to help more when I see pics..
