I think my buff orpington is psycho.

I have this one buff chick who's a week and a half old and I'm convinced that she's psycho. LOL! She likes to jump at the light in the brooder and whack her head on the top of it.... ????? she's spazzo! and psycho. what is her deal?? its always the same one too. she just repeatedly jumps and whacks her head on the light.

My chicks have always jumped at the bugs that buzz around the light.

no bugs... but perhaps she's seeing the fuzz flying around near the light. LOL! she's the only one who does it! none of the others whack their heads repeatedly at the light! LOL!

My white EE tried to perch on the wire cage of the heat lamp when I opened the brooder box to change water. I guess the light looked interesting to her

She also marches to a different beat. She's a little older now, but she's funny to watch with the others.
My other odd ball is my buff orp. She has since calmed down a little bit, but she is pyscho chicken. The others clear a path when she comes their way. She's HUGE, and psycho. She needs a cape with the letters PC on them...
