I think my duck is in love with my dog

My pekin (Female) lost her mate last winter. And In her hut the whole winter She would only her Elvis are dog (german wired hair ) barking. So once spring came Elvis would come outside to run around a play, She would scream and scream until I let her out to be with Elvis. Well Everywhere Elvis went there h\\was My pekin following hehind. Elvis And all are other dogs finally got scared her because Elvis was standing and My pekin went under him trying to get his attention and finally after her attemp to get his attention she nimped his *Male part* , and he yelped and went into his dog house, after that Elvis ran away from her.

Sounds like she definitely adores your dog. It could be friendship or a little more. I've seen flocks of ducks do this as a social conversation strategy, but if a female faces the male straight-on and quickly bobs her head, then sits on her belly or lowers herself in the water, it's a romantic invitation. I was reading about how ducks are incredibly flexible...they'll take any critter as a pal and can fall in love with other critters too.
