This is my first flock of chickens, and I should have realized the shank color was off, but thank you for confirming my suspicion. The birds are beautiful, but they did not look like what I was expecting from a Wyandotte! I am actually kind of excited about the fact that I unexpectedly got two of these birds for my flock.That is a Spangled Hamburg alright(Silver Spangling), but the pullets shanks should have been a dead give a way from the start. SLW have yellow shanks. Anything with slate shanks is not a SLW
