I think my hens are hitting on me!

Only one of my 4 do that. And it's the old one!

Imp- Guess I'm not that attractive.

Some of mine do that - what does it mean?

That is the famous hen squat. It's their way of saying "Take Me".

If you had a rooster you would totally understand.

Some of our chickies do this too me! I was wondering what the heck they where doing!!! Our lil silver duckwing bantam started doing this last week when I go to pick her up.....

Out of 7 girls(pullets) my BR is the only one laying right now, but every time I am out there she almost continuously walks around in the squat formation, wings out a little... I used to think she was trying to look bigger til I read this thread, now I understand...It's so funny, she could be 8-10 ft from me and be walking around like that then I'll talk to her and she'll head toward me waddling in her squat stance. She's hilarious... So today I gave her a quick massage and sent her on her way, still walking in her squat stance... After a bit she finally gave up and went to lay her egg so I had to leave(she's bashful ya know)... Just like her momma she'll fuss at you til your out of sight so she can lay.

That's great! I had read about this before and was looking for it in my pullets. Just this past weekend one of my BRs started doing it. I've been trying to be patient about the eggs but now that she's doing that I can hardly take the wait.
