so I just got into chickens and I’m pretty sure this rookie got taken! My 4 year old son wants a white chicken that lays green eggs. They exist, they’re called Snowy Easter Eggers and My Pet chicken carries them but I am not paying that much money for 1 chicken. I found someone selling Easter eggers and I noticed one was white. I told the lady I was looking for a pullet and she told me she was pretty confident that the chick was a pullet. “She” is 4 weeks old and is supposedly a leghorn Easter Egger cross. As I said I’m new to chickens and just out my big girls outside in the coop/pen today for the first time. Anyways...what do you all think? Pullet or roo?![]()
Ok, not what I wanted to hear. Any chance it’s a pullet? If it’s a roo I will have to rehome him and break it to my 4 year old that Snowy has to find a new home
I turned off the heat lamp and took some more photos...I can’t really handle “her” as she is wild and flys and runs around and takes home. She got loose in my house when I first brought her home earlier this week and was showing her to my son. Took me forever to catch her
