I think one of my new hens squatted for me? UPDATE- 1st EGG!!!!

Hopefully that means they are starting to trust me and will start laying soon! The White Rock is definitely the most outgoing and bold of the two hens. I can't wait to get them into their big coop and run, then I can sit down on the ground and let them come to me. I'm not thrilled that I always feel like I'm looming over them leaning into the tractor to get close.

Your hen likes you. A lot. She sees you as the rooster, and she's squatting so you can, well, you know, "do the dirty".

Congrats on your first egg! I remember when my chickens did, I'm pretty sure I cried (being a silly kid). Isn't the pullet size adorable!?
