Hello community,
I'm not sure of the culprit but upload a photo later today. We live in San Diego where zoning doesn't permit folks to have roosters. This morning I woke to the sound that hadn't been heard in the coop. I'm guessing one of my five "hens" is a Henry. My bet is on my white crested black polish because (s)he was originally classified as a barred rock and that was totally off.
Does anyone have any details on how to differentiate between a male and female white crested black polish? I haven't seen pointy feathers because the others pecked them out - maybe they were trying to tell me something. The place I got the peeps from has a return policy on roosters so any advice would be appreciated.
Will upload photos later today...need coffee first. THANKS!!!
