Rural King was supposed to order silkies and Mille Fluers from Cackle Hatchery for me. I worked exclusively with the manager until I picked them up. A month later, I notice my Millies still don't have feathers on their feet. Cackle hatchery has a video of what the chicks are supposed to look like and mine did not look like that.

So,

even when they are a day old, they should have feathery feet.

The day they came home. (The lighter, smaller ones are my white silkies) I don't think they were even the right color then!

This is my Millie on the right at about 3-4 weeks. Still, without feathery feet.

If they aren't Millies, what do you think they are? Also, how should I go about getting this resolved thru Rural King?
I still have the receipt....somewhere.

They're getting in to their awkward teen stage so it's hard for me to tell. I can't find many pictures to prove what they could be.

Silkies look to be silkies, kinda hard to tell what the other is because of the sepia picture.... but definately not a mille fleur d'uccle.

Certainly wouldn't be the first time a feed store (or other) got the chick wrong. I got a Brown Leghorn that was supposed to be a speckled sussex. Oops.

I know. it's hard to get a good picture because they are still under a red heat lamp so the coloring is skewed in pictures. When photobucket is done doing whatever it is doing, I will upload better pictures. The hatchery is also trying to help me identify the chickens, but no luck.
