The black pullet with the feathered feet ... couldn't it be a Black Copper Marans? That's what my Black Copper girls look like. I wouldn't rule out Langshan either, a breed used in the background of the Marans breed.

Can you see a little bit of dark mahogany red in the hackle feathers?

Where did you get this assortment? From a hatchery? Do they usually carry Black Copper Marans or Langshans?

Just an update at 16 weeks. So far I think they are girls, and one black one is definitely an EE/OE (we'll see when she starts laying). Pretty sure on the gender of the two black ones. Brown/red one is still henny or a late bloomer. PIcs are blurry because they were running around!

Last one is def a hen, a roo wouldn't be that color. Nice looking girls!
