So far ...

3 votes cockerel = silver chick/#2
2 votes pullet = brown chick/#1

A big thank you to leadwolf1, bigb-71 and Egghead_Jr for voting.

Another big thank you to The Red Rooster, angie3881 and peepblessed for commenting.

I also just noticed when I was looking at the headshots of #2/silver chick that his comb is large enough to bend over a little towards the back. Hmmmm, With the votes from leadwolf, bigb-71 and Egghead I am now certain that he is a he.

I'm now on the fence about brown chick/#1. These two do fight each other quite a bit eventhough there are only three chicks in an aprox 3' 6" x 3' 6" space. The black silkie just stands in a corner out of the way.

and we want to keep them. Our Chocolate Bantam Orp is suppose to be there to protect the girls - the foxes have figured out where they are but they can't get over our brick wall.

Then we have our family pet Titch. If I got rid of him, my family would never ever ever ever forgive me. Beside Titch is a beautiful friendly wonderful boy.

So, silver boy will have to go.
