My friend called me this morning, and told me two guys came out to the sale barn and roped these little guys, and one went to one home and the other one went to another. She is scared to death they will BBQ the little brown one because the wife of the guy who has him sort of didn't deny the possibility. I was suppose to get him anyway, and will call the guy tonight. Real nice guy and I doubt if he has a problem giving him over. He was getting tamer because my friend has been going out to this sale barn pasture every day for SIX months feeding and watering them at her own expense and then these guys just come in and rope them . . .she was terribly upset. Not because someone caught them, but they chased them on horses with ropes and scared them to death allover again, when she was just getting them tamed down enough to catch, plus the fact he might be someone's supper. We can make a little pen for him till Spring, and then make him a better one. He is just a few months old, so won't be hard to handle. So I think!!! I know how ornery they can be, but I LOVE goats.
