Well, if it doesnt work out, it wasnt meant to be, but I have a good feeling about it. I will post pics after I get all of the details worked out. It looks a bit rough but it also looks like HOME.
After getting info tomorrow, if I still feel that way, I am going out to see it right away. I almost bought a farm last year in the same area but had the dilemna of this house as well. The way this one is priced I wont have to sell this one to afford it.

Sounds wonderful! When DH and I moved to northern Virginia we looked everywhere for a fixer upper farmhouse, none to be had! That part of VA was too filled with DC commuters sending the pricers of everything skyrocketing! We had to build in a subdivision.

Now while we don't have a farmhouse here in MI at least we did end up with a semi-fixer-upper ranch in a nice big swamp!

Hey, make sure you can have chickens there!
