I thought I was getting better at this but...

May I ask what confirms it more for you all, feathering or comb or all of the above? Because now I’m questioning a full BCM that looks so much like a boy to me but has no comb to speak of. See what I mean?

And now I would like to say we went some years without a rooster and one of the hens took charge of the roosters job ! She would find food and call the flock, after a year or so I noticed a weird thing she had grown spurs . They where not as big and long as a roosters but they were spurs about 1" long .
Tell me about it! We lost our rooster and our hens started mating and crowing
