I thought my chick had pasty butt but it’s not blocking the vent so i’m not sure what it is

Yesterday my chick appeared to have pasty butt so i wipes her with a warm washcloth and dried her. I checked the vent and nothing was blocked.

Today she has something white on her but it doesn’t look like it’s near the vent. Might just be poop stuck to her feathers but i just wanted to make sure it’s nothing serious.

Looks like it could be stuck poop(?)

Gently place that area under running warm water and see if it breaks up, don't pull but work it between your fingers. Dry the chick very well before going back to the brooder - use a hair dryer on low if you need to.

Is the chick eating/drinking and active?
