Yah...roosters dont usually show signs of aggression until....1-2 years of age. Just like any male farm critter just give them time! But not all roos become mean so it is really based on the roo.

I've had like 5 roosters now (have 2 right now) and I've never had one with a mean bone in its body. They are all stud muffins and beautiful and love to show off and crow, but they know not to spur any humans, we're the bosses.

Try carrying them around with you alot, they wont dream of attacking you.

I have a 1 year old Barred Cochin rooster. He is the best rooster I have ever had. He is very nice. I have another rooster, a old english mix ( i think), that is soo nasty. He will try to spur you every time he has a chance. So when the little Barred Cochin sees the OE trying to attack me, he runs over and attacks the OE and then stands by me to make sure he doesnt come back. He is so sweet!
