I think we shall name her Firey after those stretchy lanky Labyrinth creatures that take of their heads

They are supposed to have dark skin, beaks and mulberry combs, but some - especially hatchery bred birds do not have all of these qualities. I have seen some with white skin and pink single combs.

I was just looking this up as oddly, I noticed today one of my silkies looks exactly like this with even pink feet. She has five toes. She has the largest crown of all of them, and we have to cut around her eyes every few months, or she'd probably starve to death.

I've never bought a hatchery bird, ever. My first three silkies came several years ago from a lady who had to give hers up. They bred from there and have been beautiful. Then a few years ago I bought eggs on eBay from a reputable silkie seller to get some new genes/bloodlines/colors, and never saw anything wrong with any of them. I guess we could suspect she had a rooster that jumped the fence? Otherwise, there is no explanation for where this one came from as I've never had any silkie without a dark beak and feet before or since.
