These buff Orpington are somewhere between 10-12 weeks old. One of them has longer tail feathers. Is it a cockerel?

The first three pictures are all the same bird. The last picture is that bird with another one

Pullet for the buffs but I question the red one in the background. The one with shorter tail feather had it broken off and isn't a complete feather so not an accurate comparison.

Starting around that age (12 weeks) is when male specific pointy saddle feathers will start coming in, usually well flowing and visible by 16 weeks..

Since saddles and hackles may barely be coming in/changing.. I too would like to see the comb/wattle color/size for confirmation as well as ask what were the temps like when pics were taken are faces the same redness or was it influenced by heat/activity?

I will get closeups soon. I’m not home now so I cant immediately. The red one is a red sex link I’m pretty sure and the cockerels are almost pure white I’ve heard so I assumed it was a pullet.
