I understand that Muschovy Ducks are "Mean"

Mine have never been mean, with humans or with my other breeds of ducks. I've even fed wild Muscovies down in Florida from my hand, they were sweet as can be.
I also cuddle with my scovies, claws and all LOL

Edited to add: I bought this duck along with two other hens and a drake as adults. They'd never been handled before.

I have two adults that while not mean are not people friendly - BUT they were never handled by people and I bought them as adults (they are coming around)

I also have several ducklings that I am taming down right now - they were bought at an auction and not imprinted on humans but are coming around very nicely. All of them get along with my chickens - sometimes they pick on the baby chicks but only to get them to move away from the waterer. They have never hurt them.
