I think they should start one called "Weather" so we can have a spot to furiously complain about days like today, when it is a windy rain/snow mix. Others can contribute about how wonderful their weather is and rub our noses into it.

It's a rainy, windy, bone chilling day here in NJ. I kind of figure it's the price we have to pay for the two beautiful days that we just had.

Gargoyle-This is spoken like a true Chicagoan. I live in the Fox Valley area also. Didn't see you join-Welcome.

I just let the dogs out and yep it was snowing! Sox game is on a big delay too.
I have checked out some of the weather threads before certainly. Many of us here (N. Illinois) posted images this winter after the big storm as did others when storms hit them.

It's up in the 90's here today. Much too hot for my comfort. We processed some birds this morning and we were all sweating and glad to get back in the ac when we were done. I have a couple batches of chicks in an outside brooder and I don't even have a heat lamp on them, even the 3-day old bunch!

I just had to go out and fix the tarp over the coop, the wind was blowing it. It's been snowing on and off today; a couple days ago it was in the mid 60's here.

While I was out there I fed them come grapes; the rooster kept picking grapes out of my hand, walking over the the hens, and dropping the grapes in front of them so they could eat. (but when he'd keep a grape for himself, the younger hen would pull it out of his beak.)

Gargoyle you know its too early for the weather to stay nice all the time there. I grew up in lake county so I know what your going thru. After 45 years of lake county and southern Wis I moved to w Ky and I aint goin back, if it snows here I just wait till it melts tommorow.

I hear you! We hit the 80's about a week ago, I thought I was going to have heat stroke! Having the snow fall today is really messing with my temperature gauge.

OK. I think we all agree that the weather today in N. IL stinks. I know people think that it's random and not controlled, but I know better. I'm calling up Tom Skilling to have him take care of this.
(JAYERS is taking this right to the top!)

Keep the comments coming about your good weather, I like to hear about it.
