Actually, I don't think it is entirely true that kids don't notice race or people can grow up and never see another person's color. Of course you do, just like you notice someones eye color, hair color, what they are wearing, how they walk. It is how we identify people. It is when we notice and think it somehow makes a difference that there is a problem. If you had to identify a missing person and couldn't even describe their skin color there would be a problem. If I somehow lost the ability to distinguish different skin tones I would be so sad......I would lose out on some of the immense beauty that is around me. The problem is, some of those people who identify worth by skin color are upset by this movie. That is where the controversy comes from.
