I wanna see this movie I don't see the big problem?!

I think it good for all races and colors to see their group as beautiful so I don't see why there should be an issue with it. However, from the title of your thread someone does. If it is your parents there is nothing you can do to change their minds and for your sake don't dispute them, just don't carry the same prejudices when you grow up.

This is just so stupid! Who cares if their are no caucasions in the movie!! I can GUARANTEE you that Disney has made plenty of movies with no black characters in it...SO..why cant they make this movie then? If people dont want to see it..dont go to the movies..pretty simple solution if you ask me.

I can't open that link at work. However, I assume this is the Disney movie with the black princess.

I heard about this several weeks ago. The controvery wasn't the color of the princess, according to what I read, it was the color of the prince as he was caucausian.

Many people didn't care for the pairing. They wanted a matched set, so to speak.

I think it looks like a cute movie, personally.

Any idea when it's coming out???

I can see the "matched pair" thing. Interracial marriage is still a very sore and touchy subject. Each side feels like the other is "stealing" the men/women.

Anyone remember that dance movie???what's it called? Oh! Save the Last Dance when the mother said that the caucasian people were "stealing" the good men?
