Uhm, you know, I have read about the Carolina dog/Dixie dingo before and thought that my dog, Budda might be a mix of that breed. Here's some pics of him.

What do you think?

I can't find a pic, but sometimes he holds both of his ears errect, like your dingo and that's what makes me think he looks like a dixie dingo.

I have a 4 month old wof hybrid named Wolfie. He is 75 % wolf and 25% malamute. He is a mix of arctic and timber wolf. He is very sweet and loving and makes a great house dog, but anytime he is outside he is stalking the chickens. He has killed a couple of them, so when I get mad at him he goes to visit my mom who has Wolfies brother Kujo. He will get in the chicken yard any way he can, dig, break the gate down, tear the fence, whatever pops into his mind at the moment, and he will "wolf" them down befor you can stop him. But hes a wolf, I guess I should have thought that through a little more. They are both sweet and well bahaved(when away from my chickens) Kujo is extremely shy though and runs from everything. Kujo is black with silver markings and Wolfie is cream colored with white markings. Kujo is absolutely beautiful, and Wolfie is not as pretty now with his summer coat but hes pretty enough. I loved seeing all the other wolf pics here, I didnt realize they were so popular.

I got him from a breeder. I was working at the vet's office, and they came in with the whole litter of 12! He and I just connected.

Everyone has such wonderful hybrids!!!

I'm not a dog expert by any means but I think there is a good possibility of Budda being a Carolina dog (mix). He certainly has the coloring and over-all build. Very handsome boy you have there.

Thanks Equest.

I love him absolutely to pieces! He's my first dog and I am just so proud of him. The only "bad" thing he does is go after small animals, especially cats *lol*. I'm hoping as he gets older he will kinda lose some of that prey drive. But he is SO SMART! It takes him usually a day or two to pick up a new trick. He can play dead, shake left and right, give high 5, leave a bone on his nose until I say "OK", wave and of course the regular sit, stay, down, etc... I'm teaching him "hide" right now, where he covers his eyes with his paw.

We're having a bit of a hard time with that.
Sorry, rambling.

But I'm just so in love with my dog.

My X boyfriend has a wolf hybrid and she is just adorable! I don't have a pic of her but he brought her over for me to see because he know how much I adore wolves! She is the most gentle dog I have ever seen!
