I wanna study bats but need info to study HELP PLEASE!

Hello,
We live on a farm in Australia QLD only 11 acres and every night there is a million bats around! I used to be afraid of them when I was a little younger and thought they would bite me or eat me!!! Im not really sure what these type are I think there fruit bats cause they eat our mangoes

BUT! It was not till the other night till I realized how amazing they were I walked out with my torch and shined it up and these amazing creatures flying over my head only a few meters away!
Then I put the torch up to my head so if there was one out high in the tree you could spot them east because there eyes look like Crystal! So then I see these bats hanging from the trees!
I look again in the bamboo tree's there are sooooo many eyes bunched together! tonight I go out and I walk towords the tree they are always in and I am watching this one a few meters away from me then this other one walks with its wings on the branch up to the other it was amazing! Then I look up and there is this one right above me staring down! THEN THEN THEN I thought they would be soooo great to study

I think bats are awesome creatures. We see them flying in the light from our security lamps every spring evening.​
