Big and white that eliminates my white leghorns..they are not big at all..but my Rhode Island White's are cuddle bugs hens and roos..hen's don't get huge but the boys are big...we have White Rocks as well but mine are not as loving as the RIW's are..problem we have is they all want to ride on our shoulders and we have more hens than shoulders for them

Oh they lay super which is why they are here to begin with.

White Rocks are nice to have around..

Most Hatcheries will not have a true Rhode Island White, They will have some kind of cross that they call a R.I. White.
A true R.I. White will be a Rose Comb breed and only Rose Comb, all the one that come from hatcheries are Single Comb...

you should really cansider tha White Rock,mine are very friendly,big and heavy,you can pet them all day long and they are too big so you can catch them until they get use to you,then they won't leave you along,ohhh and the eggs well here is one egg from them see if you can pick it apart from the rest.
