Has it ever been done? With all the beautiful pictures in "Picture-of-the-Week" seems like it wouldn't be too difficult. But, hey, what do I know...

Hi!
I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas.
Only A Hippopotamus Will Do.
I don't want a doll or rinky tinker-toys,
I want a hippopotamus to play with and enjoy!
I can see me now on Christmas morning, sneaking down the stairs...
Oh my joy and my surprise when I open up my eyes
and see my Hippo Hero standing there!

I've been asking for a hippo every Christmas for 40 years.

Since I'm obviously never getting a hippo, a BYC Calendar would be swell.

You guys are bringing up such good ideas!!! We discussed this last year and that we could use the previous year's POWs for the callendar and get them professionally printed.

even a poster style calendar would be cool...great for decorating the coop. or marking off age of birds...OR showing them what date to start laying by or it's in the pan!

My idea...A BYC Cookbook....edited by Miss P of course!

In my folders for recipes, I have one called egg friendly. The recipes like frittata that use eggs in abundence and are family friendly.

How about Frugal Chickens? I cooked up a mess of oatmeal for the Delightful Dozen today and they were blissful for mere pennies.
