I want a Silkie!!!!!

Well it looks like your just going to have to place an order for some major fluffs! That's the great thing about the net, if you see it, you must get it! That's the american way!

I would, but my dad doesn't approve right now.

I would pay for them and everything, but we need t expand our space for chickens right now. Maybe I can talk my anti-chicken mom into getting some.

She has never really raised chickens before, but if I get her to get some Silkies, maybe she will get into it and will be just as addicted to them as I will be!

They really do make great "pets" - our hens are so patient and gentle (the two roosters - not so much!) - I have a hen that has just started laying. Im going to give her a couple of weeks and test out her eggs for fertility.....Here are a couple pics for you....

Um, do you have a bator?

Yeah, but as much as I would love some eggs to hatch (especially SILKIES!!!

), we need to expand our space a little first...one of the coops has to be repaired as it is.

We will probably need to wait until Spring/Summer to make a new coop and repair one of the ones we currently have.

We all need silkies... they should be a whole nother species next to chickens, and we should all own at least one before we get any other chicken... because we all do eventually fall in love with their charm and cuteness!!!

I was hoping the one in front was a lavender, but he/she is a very nice splash

the reason you MUST have silkies is that there is NOTHING like going out back and having 14 Silkies run all the way from the coop to you for treats!

(tell your mom they're not chickens, they're Asian Silkies!)
