I WANT an EGG

OK, so my silkie is 4 mo old well turning 5 mo on sept 29th! i really want an egg. like now. like right now. like legit. now. GAHH IM GOING TO DIE! what do i to not go crazy?

I know just how you feel - my 2 Marans were born the middle of March and have not given me an egg yet and my Isa Brown was born the beginning of April and no egg from her. It is very, very difficult to wait!! I plead with them all the time, but they turn a deaf ear.

I know how you feel also. My Aussie girls didn't start laying till after 6 months and a few of them waited till 7 months!!! I was ready to explode by then! But it will happen and boy will it be worth the wait!

Be patient. My ISAs and RIR were born in the beginning of March. The RiR just started laying last week. One if the ISAs just started this week on the front porch on a plastic bag. Lol! I tried to put straw in a box and put in the same spot, bnut she pushed it out of the way and layed on the plastic bag again! Lol! O well. At least she sings to me everymorning then lays here treasure under my front window. I love it!!!!

You could try taking the soup pot out to the run and show it to them, explaining that if they don't pony up with the eggs, they will be taking a nice hot bath with some vegetables and a bay leaf.
