We like the Scottish highland cattle. The are very easy keepers, docile, browse on forage other cattle would turn their nose up at and get fat on it. They like to browse in the woods, have less external fat due to their long coat, require little in the way of shelter, do not stress easily, pink eye is uncommon because of the long hair, have less that 1% calving problems. They are very hardy animals having been bred in the rugged and remote climate of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. The meat is quite tasty too.
