and the lovely, clean-faced, white pullet:

I ordered 5 pullets, got 4 pullets (I hope!) and a cockerel, and got 5 completely different colors! They are elegant, tall birds. Looking forward to the eggs - blue, I hope!

I got somme EE from Ideal they were very pretty birds and where consistant in colors and type. Right now FROM IDEAL I am raising Large fowl( Buff O's, Dorkings and Wyandotts) next group was Bantams(Frizzeled cochins, regular cochins, silkies and D'Uccles all in blue and blk/mille fleu in blu and the normal) All birds arrived healthy, all lived and all of them are beautiful. Also got 4 ducks and a pair of African geese. All growing and I just love them. I am not an expert but, you can definately tell what breeds they are and I have been seriously studying the standards on the breeds I like for about 11 years now. I have also bought babies from Breeders only to do a lot of culling. SO thats my experience..

I got 10 EE's from them. I ordered 5 standard pullets and 5 bantam st runs. I got all dark colored chicks that are typical EE shades of brown and in the bantams I got 2 or 3 darks and the other 2 or 3 are one lavender mixed with buff or red and the other is basically the same with slightly darker feathers and a way darker head.

I got a red Turken from Ideal a month ago and yesterday I received 2 Ameraucanas that according to the Ameraucana breed club look like they are going to be Silver's. I also recieved an Ameraucana a month ago with the same markings - but it died 15 minutes after it got here. Oh- one odd thing - it appears as if one of the Ameraucanas is rumpless - I mean there is no tail protrusion at all!
