I want to make this for hawk cover..can anyone identify the type of poles they are using?

I'm a small woman so the cattle panels are a bit heavy for me.

Takes less strength than bending conduit.

I bought a 3ft pole bender, so we will see.

I would think a few 1/2 inch pipes would not be as heavy as a cattle panel. I want it to be portable, and it looks easier to attach metal siding by simply using a screw which is why I was interested in this over a cattle panel.

I was actually injured by a cattle panel that snapped open..it was not fun.

A stick of 3/4" x 10ft long pvc pipe works good for a brace, no bender needed

I just put a screw at the bottom to connect to the wood and use zip ties to connect wire to the pvc pipe

I agree hillbilly91 its cheap and easy to work with. If you want to make it wider just put 2 pieces together with a screw through the coupling and bend it by hand to where you want, cut off the excess.

The zip screws would be a good way to connect tin to the pvc

Of course it lighter, but I meant the strength needed to bend the conduit.
Tho the 1/2" I bent was much easier than the 3/4".

I found them on Amazon but they are a bit pricey...

homedepot seems to have better pricing. get the head part for 20 bucks, get a piece of rebar that will be dirt cheap and you are all set for bending
