I want to make this for hawk cover..can anyone identify the type of poles they are using?

The "hawk" protection I built for our flock is easy to build and portable. Its basically an " L" that is built out of 2"x2"'s 8 feet long. Each leg of the "L" is 24" and we covered it with camouflage netting. We lean it against one exterior wall and it makes a tunnel a.k.a a chunnel...you can Google it and there are many styles and options. Out girls love it and spend LOTS of time in it. When the sun comes up I will attach a picture.

Ah gotcha. Though, I think you could still use the homedepot one, but to get that wide bend you would have to do it several times in small increments which would be a bit more tedious.

The other option, if you have a big table as the lady in the video has, you could attach some large bolts to the table in a staggered position and than place the pipe you want to bend in between the bolts using them as leverage and bend the pipe until you get the desired bend.

Found this and it looks like a homemade "bender".

Please show a picture when you get time, I'd love to see it.
I'm actually wanting a tunnel for out in the middle of my yard. They have a tree for safety but when they wander out, I wanted them to have this short tunnel to hide in.

I definitely need a table...and I I will have to make something when I get the bender.

The "chunnel" was put together in less than 30 minutes from scrap/extra lumber I already had on hand and I stand corrected it is built out of 2x4's 2x2's would be more than sufficient. We covered it with camouflage netting. The reason we built it is we lost our head hen to a red-tailed hawk attack. This would work well for you and if you want to you can purchase lawn mower wheels and attach them to one end and handles on the other and move it whenever and wherever you want. I think your version would look like a pyramid/inverted "V". Our flock really likes it for shade in the summer and out of the wind/rain at other times and just to have a chicken spa day.
