I want to move, where is the best place to live?

I love Chelan, Washington. It's a tourist town though, so the housing isn't cheap. Get a little further North near Tonasket or Republic and it's very affordable and beautiful. We do get snow in the Winter. Summer is pretty nice since it's a dry heat. Nowhere near the rain that the Seattle area gets.
The other place I'd recommend is central Oregon. The Willamette Valley is beautiful and nice mild weather. Prices may be a little higher there though. Kentucky's nice. My wife has family in Prospect. We were just there last month. Went down to Lake Cumberland. It was beautiful and fairly mild for July!

I second Washington. Next door to me is for sale.

And we're in the best school district in the state. Of course everyone on my street homeschools, but that isn't because the schools are bad, we just like to.
