Grab him up in a blanket and wrap around so his piggie nails won't hurt and hold him close even if hes squealing like hes being murdered and hold him till he stops... Do that everyday! he'll get used to who feeds him its hard when Only ONE person handles them That person may have handled him but if they are the only person they see other people can be scary its like having a dog that is great with the family but anyone else comes in they are mortally scared and barking trying to climb the end table by the couch! it takes lots of time for a pig that has not had a all around attention time. it maynot be the previous owners fault! Seriously hes young enough if you keep wrapping him up and holding him till he stops struggling and sqealing then pet him rub him rub his belly and lay with him! don't give up you might want to keep him in a smaller spot untill you can catch him pretty easy! he'll learn to take treats from you soon he'll be coming to you for food because he'll know you!

My biggest pig is 55 pounds it's my Sow Millie but thats after she had babies she got up to 65 while pregnant with her 8 babies but lost alot of it after she weaned. Little man is 35 pounds and I expect Luna to be in the 40 pound range and Savanna to be around 45 pounds. Those are my keepers! Sunshine is a little smaller then her sisters were so I expect her to be about 40 pounds. Really I don't expect any of them to be over 60 unless they are preggers. Millie pig is two years old and Little Man is a year old but turns two on the 26th of this month. Millie pigs birthday is jan the 3rd!

I am going to go upload pics of my piggy! I love, love, love having a "house pig." He enjoys his outdoor time, but LOVES to snuggle with Mommy or Daddy on the couch at nighttime.

He is almost 2 and is 48 pounds. We think he is full-grown, we have had him since two months old. He has not gotten much bigger in the last two or three months. He is so cuddly and lovable. He loves meeting new people when we are taking walks, or going to new places, but he does not like it when a new person(especially male) comes into "his space" a.k.a. the kitchen. He is the greatest pet ever!!!

By the way, all your piggies are SO cute! The pictures of the piglets make me want to get another one! I miss those "baby days!"

Here is Harley! The pictures vary in ages, from when we first got him when he was 2 months old, (the couch picture) up to two days ago (the laying down on the cement, dirt covered picture...tee hee!) He is such a joy and I love him so much! Such a wonderful companion, and he is so darn smart! I would recommend a pig as a pet to anyone! As long as you have the time to spend with them, indoor pigs get quite attached to their owners. Harley is a Mama's boy, and proud of it!!!

My pig LOVES raisins! And Green beans! And carrots! And apricots! And he loves his pig feed too! I use raisins and his feed as the main sources of "treats" Give him time, was he not around people before? It might be a whole new world for him, and it will take time for him to get used to new surroundings and people. Pigs are creatures of habit! I would let him come to you first, if you aprroach him too much he will feel threatened and it will put your training in reverse! Good luck! Keep us posted! I hope things work out for you!

Super cute!! It looks like you have the same "cuddler bed" as we do! Harley loves it! I put a cheap towel or two in the bed for him to nuzzle and nudge with his nose. He could nuzzle for hours.
