So, the one stand-alone rooster photo is Roo Paul. In the pic that labels the "hens" vs. "pullets"--the hens bred with Roo Paul, and made the pullets AND other cockerels that are also pictured. The consensus is that Pullet 3 "Eggvanka" came from the Red Sex Link (Hen 2, "Slim Shady"), Pullet 1 and 2 are from our Brahma "Amelia Eggheart", and Amelia is responsible for SIX boys--the ones pictured that look just like her. We had to rehome all of the roos. I only pictured a few of them. I don't have any more recent pics, but they are BEAUTIFUL like their dad!!! With varied colored feathers, and more cream/wheaten feathers like their dad--than are pictured here, because they were about 4 months old. The brown pullets from the Brahma lay the most beautiful eggs! In fact, I'll include a pic of our eggs--I'm beside myself loving the "easter egg" quality that we get every day.

I have a friends’ experiment: pics of them near the end:Yokohama red shoulder hen and black Cochin Frizzle rooster—only 1 of the first 4 eggs laid, hatched—it was born 1Oct2020(during the CA fire season). It was gray, so named it Ash.

At 4 months, pretty sure it’s a pullet—head & body of Yokohama and feathers from Cochin...

She is our Fantasy Chicken, knows her name and the most docile sweetheart 🤩

The dark rooster is a cross with a buckeye rooster and black australorp hen. He was super people shy and none of my chickens liked him even though he was raised by a broody. Gave him away and he ended up getting killed by a predator. The last two is a cross with my buckeye rooster and a white ameraucana. Both parents have rose combs and he has a really big one. (Two pictures of same rooster)
